The Blues Music Awards brings together Blues performers, industry representatives, and fans from all over the world to celebrate the best in Blues recordings and performances from the previous year. The BMAs are generally recognized as the highest honor given to blues musicians and are awarded by vote of Blues Foundation members.
After 20+ BMA nominations throughout his now three-decade-long career, Nick Moss finally brought home a statue last year in the 40th Annual Blues Music Awards for “Traditional Blues Male Artist,” while Dennis Gruenling earned his first trophy for “Blues Instrumentalist: Harmonica.”
This year, the guys are up for a few more honors. Remember you can VOTE in the BMAs simply by being a member of the Blues Foundation. Join today to show your support for both the venerable Blues organization, as well as Nick, Dennis and the band.
All Blues Foundation members in good standing, whose dues are current, will receive a final ballot during the voting period. Any member who renews his or her membership or joins as a new member during the voting period will also receive a ballot. Voting is now open and will officially close at NOON CST on February 28, 2020 at which point no additional ballots will be accepted.
